PostSubject: ISLAM & TERRORISM   Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:13 pm

THERE IS GENERAL PERCEPTION IN THE WORLD THAT MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS. I FEEL THAT TO SOME EXTENT THIS PERCEPTION IS BASED ON FACTS. SOME OF THE MUSLIMS OVER THE GLOBE ARE UNABLE TO FIND A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAM & TERRORISM.SUICIDE ATTACKS ON INNOCENT PEOPLE IS NEVER ALLOWED IN ISLAM.ISLAM TEACHES US TO LIVE AND LET OTHER'S LIVE PEACEFULLY.PAKISTAN,UNDER MUSHARAF'S DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP IS TRYING TO REMOVE THIS WRONG PERCEPTION. MOST OF THE PAKISTANIS ARE AGAINST FUNDAMENTALISM & TERRORISM BUT THEY HAVE BLOOD RELATIONS WITH THESE ELEMENTS, THERE FORE, THEY ARE RELUCTANT TO OPPOSE THEM OPENLY.INSHA ALLAH THIS NEGATIVE PERCEPTION WILL BE REMOVED SOON.
