Obviously we can't exist without IT in the community of nations, particularly when the tempo of life is so fast; and different communities in the global village are interacting for the advancement of Science and Technology within their respective regions. Japan could be quoted as an example, where skilled human labour is utilising its knowledge of IT in order to maintain fairly high standards of living; and they are successful in this venture despite non-availability of agricultural resources and raw material including minerals which they have to import for making light and heavy machines, including automobile which has captured the entire international market.
